George Simpson
and Neal Burger met at Universal Studios where they were both sound
editors. Their friendship developed into a working partnership as screen
writers and novelists.
Their screenplay,
The Disappearance of Flight 412, was produced in 1974
in a made-for-television military science fiction drama starring Glenn
Ford, Bradford Dillman, David Soul and Guy Stockwell.
Here they are with
Glenn Ford on the set of the movie. Neal is on the left and George is
on the right.
